2021 – Many thanks to all those who donated!

The Free Community Christmas Dinner was founded by Ann Edstrom Watters in 1990 to ensure that no one had to spend Christmas alone. It received classification as a non-profit organization in November, 2012. On Christmas Day each year, through kind community contributions, a committee of volunteers is able to coordinate a sit-down turkey dinner with all the fixings, musical entertainment and even a visit from Santa who provides all the children with presents. Although our founder passed away in April, 2009, her legacy continues through the generous donations and efforts of the community.
